Individual career counseling

Career planning can help you understand the labor market, be aware of various opportunities and set realistic goals for your future. A career advisor is available, by appointment, to help you in such areas as:

• Choosing or changing a career direction
• Understanding the relationship between choice of major and career plans
• Assessing abilities, interests and priorities
• Locating sources of career information
• Learning about graduate school options and the admissions process
• Mastering job search techniques
• Developing interview skills
• Any related concerns, such as making the transition from college to work and coping with parental or financial pressures
